Trauma-specific counselling

We offer a range of different counselling options. Generally, there are up to five counselling appointments to determine the client’s concerns, life situation and symptoms. This can be, for example, a low-threshold initial consultation on current complaints. In case of previous treatments or complex symptom patterns, an in-depth diagnosis of post-traumatic and dissociative symptoms is possible in order to examine trauma-specific therapy options. Further offers in our centre, such as social work and group activities, are also available if indicated. In the case of acute psychiatric symptoms such as acute suicidal tendencies, psychotic experiences, severe addictive disorders and self-harm, it is not advisable to consult us. In this case, we will be happy to advise you on the clinical facilities in Hamburg that come into question.
