Supporting psychotherapists wanted

Refugees have a particularly hard time finding a psychotherapy place in Hamburg as well as nationwide. Centra is therefore continuously looking for psychotherapeutically active colleagues who are willing to provide individual places. Of course, we take into account your professional priorities and first carefully clarify your wishes and limits for the assignment of clients (e.g. whether there is a willingness to work with language mediation or whether treatment should be possible in German). If desired, we offer free supervision, training, support in the organization of language mediators and assistance with other needs.

Any offer of collaboration is valuable to us and helps sufferers get much-needed therapeutic help faster. We will be happy to provide you with information on how you can get involved and what forms of support we have available for you. We are looking for

  • Psychological or medical psychotherapists willing to provide individual therapy slots.
  • Psychotherapists according to HPG, who are willing to treat individual clients on a voluntary basis.
  • Complementary psychotherapeutic services (e.g. stabilizing group services that are also suitable for refugees).

We offer for you

  • Further training – e.g. on flight and migration, trauma (therapy), or work with language mediators.
  • Professional consulting, individual and group supervision – by telephone, online or in presence.

  • Help with the organization of language mediators– if they are needed.

  • Assistance in applying for psychotherapy – such as the reimbursement process.

  • Help with coordination and networking – should there be further needs.
