Trauma-specific counselling
We offer a spectrum of different consulting options. In principle, up to five counseling appointments are needed to clarify the client’s concerns, life situation and symptoms. This can be, for example, a low-threshold initial consultation on current complaints. In the case of previous treatment or complex symptom patterns, an in-depth diagnosis of post-traumatic and dissociative symptoms is possible in order to examine trauma-specific therapy options. Other services at our center, such as social work and group services, are also available if indicated.
In the case of acute psychiatric symptoms such as acute suicidal tendencies, psychotic experiences, severe addictive disorders and self-injury, it is not advisable to present to us. In this case, we will be happy to advise you on the clinical facilities in Hamburg that come into question.

- Up to 5 meetings to assess current needs and make a recommendation
- Recommendations can concern further offers of the center or external offers
- As a rule, by a psychologist or doctor and, if necessary, other consultants.
- Language mediation, partly also native speaker (e.g. farsi, dari, Kurdish-Kurmanji, Russian)
- Registration by appointment (Mon 9am-12pm, Fri 9am-12pm; Tel 040/2320522-22).
