Gentle Yoga – group offer for refugees
Our yoga offer for refugees was designed with exercises from gentle yoga. It is a building block to release body tension and bring relaxation, but also to experience a bit of community. Using a trauma-informed approach, the group will learn body and breathing exercises from yoga that are feasible for anyone and everyone. They help to feel the body, to be in the here and now and to (re)gain self-determination. The yoga class gives the participants a break to gain new strength and confidence. It is important to us that everyone feels comfortable and decides for themselves.
The yoga group will take place from the end of October 2020 every Tuesday from 12:30 to 13:30 in our rooms at Heidenkampsweg 97, 20097 Hamburg. The number of seats is limited to 6 people. It is possible to join the program on an ongoing basis after registration.
